PLUS in the event “Platform Urbanization and impact on urban transformation and citizenship”

On 5th March 2021, our partner Filippo Bignami  (SUPSI) participated in the event  “Platform Urbanization and impact on urban transformation and citizenship”, hosted by University of GRAZ.

The conference gave the opportunity to both disseminate the PLUS project and its topics in a new academic environment and deepen a project direct thematic link (platform urbanization and citizenship).

The main topics covered in the presentation were:

–What is Platform Urbanization?

–How platforms increasingly govern our cities.

–Towards an expanded concept of urban citizenship.

It can be indicated that the target audience was Academics specialized in platforms multi-layered impacts in urban setting.

Networking was strengthened with  University of Graz and with all colleagues participating in sessions participated (for example University of Fine Arts Hamburg; University of Milan Bicocca; London School of Economics and Political Science, etc.)
